How to Sign In to Streaming Apps

Signing in to a streaming app on your Vizio Smart TV is straightforward. For most services, you’ll either enter your email and password directly on the TV or use an activation code method — where you sign in on your phone or computer and the TV automatically unlocks.

Open the App

From the SmartCast home screen, scroll to the app you want to sign in to and press OK on your remote to launch it. If the app isn’t installed yet, visit the App Store first — press the V button on your remote, scroll to App Store, and search for the service by name.

On your phone or computer, go to that URL, sign in to your account, and enter the code. The TV signs in automatically within seconds.

Start Watching

  • Use 5 GHz WiFi whenever possible. The 5 GHz band is faster and less congested than 2.4 GHz, which leads to more consistent streaming with less buffering.
